The Dream Alphabet
Would you like to have your private dream analyst wherever you go? Strephon's The Dream Alphabet contains 2000 key symbols from life and dreams.
Have a look inside the book
1• Write down or rewrite your dream as fully as possible. List the key symbols which have positive or negative energy. 2• List the key actions in the dream by you as dream ego or taken by other figures. How do the actions relate to each other? 3• List what you in the dream (dream ego) are doing and not doing in the dream. How are you relating or not relating? 4• List three major issues in the dream in terms of the dream itself. Describe fully.
5• List several key questions about your dream. Be intuitive. Use the dream’s actions in your questions. 6• What image, figure or other symbol has the most energy, positive or negative? Describe. 7• Pick three of your key questions to ask a dream figure. Ask and write quickly any response. 8• Pick a key figure in your dream and meditate on that image, keeping it in focus. Record your responses.
9• Pick a key scene and meditate on it, simply exploring the place. Record your experience. 10• Symbol immerse again in meditation on any other key symbol. Record your experience. 11• Symbol immerse again in meditation on any other key symbol. Record your experience. 12• Draw in any way you want the key figure you have dialogued with. Write about your drawing.
13• Take one of your dialogues and list the attitudes in it, the little rules about life. 14• Rewrite the dream you have worked on more fully now with more description and feeling. 15• Affirm the value. Please write in our Consciousness Forum about your dreamwork. 16• Pick another dream character and meditate on it, observing as many details as possible.
17• In your symbol immersion get closer or further away from the image for intensity. 18• Dialogue with a dream figure, asking why it did what it did in the dream. 19• Dialogue with a dream figure, asking what it wants from you. Let it flow with more questions 20• Dialogue with the you in the dream and ask it why it did what it did.
21• List the insights that have come from your dream dialoguing. 22• In new dreaming focus on dialoguing within the dream and remembering conversations. 23• Analyze how you have conversations in outer life. How well do you dialogue? 24• Take a dream and add spontaneous dialogues to the interactions. Let the words just flow and look at it afterwards.
25• Have two dream characters dialogue between them while you record what they say and help keep the conversation going. 26• Take two dream figures and meditatively hold them in focus feeling what is evoked in you.
